enlarging my first negative to a positive.

the first thing i did was clean my negative with photoflow
i loaded the negative in to the enlarger by opening the englarger placing the photo in the negative holder and placing it into the enlarger and closing the enlarger. to see my photo i turned on the outlet focus to see the image apear.
To then focus the image i turned the nob on the side of englarger either clock wise or counter clock wise to get it as focused as i can with out using the magnifer . Then to make the photo become more persice i used the magnifier to see the sand like crystals on the photo.
To set the aperature we turned the lens under the enlarger to place less light in the photo.
To do the test stip we set our timer back to outlet time to set out timer.
I then got a peice of emoltion paper and tore it into thirds to use as our test stip
I then placed where our photo was being seen and exposed all of it for 3 sec. Then i covered the test strip into seperate fourths so i can expose each 4th for different times.
we then developed the test stip and saw the different lighting we could have on our photo.
We then did the same with our real picture.
i exposed mine for about 7 seconds. To develope it I put it in developer for 1 min. then fixer for 15 sec. then into permawash for 2 min. then into the jacuzzi for about 5 min.
